hey all!! Very Happy , after crashing my old 106 1.1 gti moonstone blue replica witch i loved! i sold it to a mate and brought this baby! after looking at a couple of 180's!!
brought it with 51,000 miles on the clock, 1 owner since brand new! full service history 12months mot and 6 months tax!, built in sat nav and 6 cd changer etc, 2004 plate! brought it for a bargin 2900! Smile

dont ask about the block of wood i was doing something! lol
ive had it for couple months now and i have had my mates dad work on it as he a garage! ive had a full service, and cambelt change! rear pads changed due to one side sticking on! Crying or Very sad
the interior was mint! sorry about pillow was cleaning car and didnt want seats to get dirty lol

engine bag was filthy so gave it a little clean and had a little go on the manifolds making them shiney!, still more to go, sorry no pics before and cam is rubbish qauility due to taken at night!

so had a couple weekends free and decided to detail the car all by hand!!, started by washing car, then clayed car, polished with meguairs ultimate compound and finally finished with autoglym high defintion wax! and rubber vinyl care etc! came out mint no pics before sorry! Very Happy
heres some pics!

[IMG]http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff444/creamypie69/206/IMAG0064.jpgchromed up exhaust but photo not brilliant!

as i was detailing i noticed all the wheel arches and inside of wheels were filthy so cleaned inside of wheel and inside arches!!
arches before:

arches after been cleaned:

soz no pics of wheels!
as i was cleaning arches and wheels i decided the brake calipers need repainting so i got the wire brush and paint out! went for the colour silver as is standard colour and looks good!
before:

then it decided to rain Sad so i had to covered the brake up and waited till it stopped!

after:

totally in love with the 206 gti 180! so much better than a 106!
future plans:
get a k and n panel filter-any one recommend any other make?
get wheels refurbed as they need it bad thinking in shadow chrome wheels like stuy180 as im in love with them and think there sick!
and finally scorpion exhaust as the standard one is quite rusty atm and will need replacing soonish!
team heko windeflectors
and maybe a sp grill set!
thanks for reading and look comments welcome!

It looks very smart, is a subtle drop on the cards?

Also just to make your decision about a new exhaust harder alot of 180 owners go for the cat back janspeed system and they get rave reviews so might be another possibility.

Looks like a very fine example!! Tints, Lowered, Black Masked or Black Angel Lights would set it off!!! And id say go for the Shadow Chrome!!!

cheers guys, yeah i was thinking about modifying it but did that with my 106 like crazy lol, and was such a waste of money so dobt ill lower it etc, think i might just go with shadow chrome wheels, k and n panel filter, team heko wind deflectors and scorpion exhaust, i was thinking janspeed but scorpion looks more standard than janspeed!
