Hello

I have just got a radio cd player off the internet for my 206. It is the same as the one in the manual and appears to work fine. The radio comes on and the controller on the steering works fine however there is an audible bleep every 2 seconds and the CD player does not work.

Any ideas anyone? There is something in the manual about auto anti theft feature and that it will not work in other vehicles?

The car didn't have a radio when I brought it btw.

Cheers

Just out of curiosity how much did you pay for the original stereo?

Sorry for going off the topic

Sorry for being completely off topic, but why does everyone always say "brought" when it should be "bought" is this just an English thing or what?

onThanks for the replies. Paid £48 including postage - is that a lot? I apologise for my poor grammer/spelling what ever you call it... they weren't that fussy on the 106 owners forum.... must be moving up in the world!

Cheers for the help!

I dont not if it is pricey just wondered as I have one just gathering dust. For that price I'm likely to sell mine.

I got a sony usb headunit so no more scratched cd's for £50, but I was lucky to get it.
