Hello
Just a quickie really, I have 2.0 Diesel, and after every journey my dipstick seem to have popped out, doesn't matter how shot the journey either, So I'm guessing the engine cover is kicking up (which I know it does do) when the engine is started, and knocking it out.
I recently replaced the dampers cause they had all just deteriorated, and the engine cover just sits loosely atop of that, is that normal? I assumed so as that's how it was sitting on the broken ones.
I just wondered if it was a big deal or if it can be sorted.

Dipstick - Is this one of the newer versions? As IIRC Pug brought out an updated version as this was a common problem.
