Hi, got a problem with the clutch on my 1.4 8v 206.
I sent it into the garage about 5 months ago to have its clutch replaced, a couple of days after it had been fitted, i noticed there was a clicking noise when the clutch was brought up. It was just one click when it reached the biting point.
I sent it back into the garage and they said the clutch and release bearing were fine and they didnt know what it was and that it wasnt going to cause any problems. So i left it as it was and run it.
Yesterday the clutch started slipping again, so obviously it has worn down a LOT quicker than it should, I have only done 5000 miles on this clutch.
I am going to replace the clutch and release bearing again myself this time, but is there anything I can do/check to make sure it doesnt wear down as quick next time and to stop the clicking noise.
Thanks for your help

Fit a Valeo / Sachs or LUK clutch kit.
Replace the clutch cable.
