ok so got out there and got into the boot by the way mr bsi said (many thanks for that),
i disconected the wires for the boot lock and still no joy on the doors.

it will still lock the doors on the fob (both at once) but when useing the key it will only do one door at the time.
now i have also got a 206 van also on a 04 plate same as the 180 so will the door motors fit into the 180 ?????.
if they will i supose the next thing to try is swapping them over.
the van has not got a remote fob with it but when you turn the key in either door it will unlock both doors as the 180 wont does this mean one of the door motors id fubberd ???.

ah right thats a no then just my luck !!!!
would it be possable to fit them and just not have deadlocks on the 180 or would they just not work??.
could these problems be a fubberd bsi unit (please say no)

sorry for all the Q's but only had the 180 for a short time and not had to work on it before if it was a scoob i could rip it apart and put back with no probs but these pugs seem to have "fun" electrics.

Never tried a normal locking motor in place of a deadlocking one, got a 50 / 50 chance of it working Laughing
