i have just got my girlfriend a 03 plate 1.1 lx 206
but the problem is the central locking is playing up  , its a 2 fob plip
when i push the lock or unlock button the lights flash and the fuse box clicks but doesnt lock the doors
i only have 1 key so i dont think i can recode it 
any help appreciated

Check the fuse, mine went pop, the indicators still flashed but the locks did nothing.

on the drivers side down by your right knee think its fuse number 16

Have a look at the FAQ of the forum, there are fusebox locations and descriptions of each fuse. This info will also be in the owner's manual, if the car has one. There are two fuseboxes, on in the engine bay and one under the steering wheel behind an easily-removeable panel.

checked every fuse none have blown
any more ideas?
