I have always liked 306's. I think I would feel like I have downgraded if I got one though. Feel sorry for you about the polo, driven two and they are horrible to drive.

Aye polo´s are truely awful! I love 306´s never been keen on 206´s until i tool the gti a run without the backbox... the sound got me  Im a 306 lover at heart! If youve never driven a GTi6 i strongly recommend doing so!!

I would love to but the insurance for one will be a no-go. 306's do look good IMO but I also think they look a bit dated now especially inside. They don't feel as big inside ether. I signed up to the 306 forum and looked though the pics and they all look the same like you can't do much with them.

Your 306 D-Turbo (P325 DVP) has a very similar Reg to one I used to have.
Mine was a 3 Door 306 D-Turbo in the same blue with Reg (P319 DVP)
Must have been built at the same time and regestered at the same dealership.
