Anyone wired up a trailer socket to their 206? What colour is the rear foglight wire? I've looked in the Haynes manual and it doesn't have colour codes for the wires, just says the wire is "200". And on the car itself, the wires for the fog are in a sheath, then go into a conduit, then come out at a reasonably accessible point but in a bundle of approx. 30 wires or so, which includes both rear lights and all the electrics on the tailgate/rear of car such as heated rear window, wiper, etc etc so I'd rather not start having to delve into this lot (or split the cable sheath open).

Peugeot dont use colour codes for wires apart from the standard green / yellow earth.
The wire number code is printed every few inches on the wire.

I know they don't use colour codes.......but was hoping someone's done the job before, and knows the colour it was - makes it 10x simpler.
Does this mean it could be any colour, or is the relationship between wire number and colour always consistent???

At the risk of looking like I'm talking to myself (but the info might be useful for others): the rear foglight is a beige/peach wire, which isn't much help since there's about 10 of this colour.
On a more general note, if anyone needs the colour codes etc for the other 6 wires for trailer socket wiring, I can give you my notes, which might help a little bit.
