is it when you're driving? could be the boot itself, if it is you can wrap insulation tape around the catch to bulb it out a bit

Might be something in the compartment where the wheel wrench is have a feel in there

mine is doing the same, sounds like something loose in the bootlid.
i havent had chance to check but i think its the catch worn.
try some insulating tape and see if that cures it.

I thought it was the motor on the back of the lock but you cant put tape around it as it has to pop out to lock the boot.

Mine does it.
Mine is due to missing clips for the boot panel around the wiper motor

Simple fix, just buy new clips
That reminds me :L

Hi, had the same rattle in the boot, drove me nuts. Finally it was the lock, just loosen the 2 bolts and move it forward or backwards and tighten it again. Try different positions until the rattle is gone.

Turned out to be one of the nuts that was loose on the lock.
Just nipped it up and silence.
