Hi, I have a peugeot 206 1.1l style 2001, It has a standard clarion cd player the radio works fine, however cd's do not play. All I hear is an attempt to read the disc shortly followed by the disc being spat out. On some occasions the disc plays, then I insert another and nothing....I dont know the model number as I haven't a clue how to remove the unit. Any Ideas? Thanks

time to throw it out and get a decent aftermarket stereo.

Not sure this will work, but you can buy laser cleaners for cd players maybe that'll work?

Laser worn. Lens clean might give it a bit more time before it finaly claps-out. Sound quality will be affected even though the error-correction is trying it's best to hide it.
