hi i have a 2004 206 S,and a few days ago the stop warning light and the oil light started flashing,i took the car to my step borthers garage and he said the oil is full and he cant see any problems,i was thinking it might be the computer telling the car its empyt as the right door open warning comes on now and then so i was thinkin it might be related,my brother does not do electrics so i was wondering if anyone on here can help.just to add when i turn the ignition on the oil gauge is saying the car is full

The warning light is for low oil PRESSURE Wink

Has it got a genuine Peugeot or Purflux oil filter fitted?

Also open the bonnet & check the oil level with the dipstick, the dash gauge likes to tell lies.

Under the oil filter housing you will find an oil pressure switch.

Check / clean the connector plug, see if that helps.

If it doesnt then change the switch.

If the oil pressure light has come on, then more than likely damaged has already been caused Wink

On a modern engine the oil light is generally too late, damage has been done Wink

Oil is the blood of your car. If you cut a vein in your arm, you aren't going to be 100% are you?
