hi lads n lases ive bought a 206 last week its been running fine but its only when its started getting cold iv had problems car starts fine but cuts out straight away, runs perfect when its warmed up. after having a little read about it looks like the ect sensor is this easy to change? and were is it located. sorry if there is alredy a thread to this problem

ECT = Engine coolant temp sensor - it is on the thermostat with a green plug

Can have it for £5.75 delivered.
Nope, just unplug the connector and its either a 16 or 17mm spanner.

cheers, sorry if im asking too much mate its ma first 206 and im just trying to figure out what it is i actully need before i buy it so far ive had diffrent answers lol so you reckon its the thermostat i need? any chance i could pick it up friday because im actly in sheffield aswel and i need it asap.

Nooooo. I'm saying the coolant sensor is on the thermostat. Yeah you could come pick it up.
