On my 1.4 8v 2001, I had 2 recon drive shafts fitted recently and they keep popping the clips off on the gaiters. Not sure what they are called, like a jubilee clip.
Nearside has been replaced twice now and the offside once. I'm not being charged any extra, its just a pain keep going back to the garage.
It seems like there's not enough clearance when they spin. The garage thinks it may be a thicker rubber gaiter and has ordered another set of shafts.
Anyone any ideas why they're being knocked off or why they are catching?
