So, as well as the other issues relating to the new car, the central locking is playing up, I have done a quick search re. the problem, but can't find a definitive answer.

The central locking bounces back up as soon as i try to lock the car with the key fob...

So i lock manually using the key in the lock method and it locks from both sides.

It doesnt unlock itself at anypoint, but it strangly allows me to open the doors with the key fob, just not lock them!!!!

Bizarre!?!? or just french electronics!!!

What is going on???

Thanks for help in advance!

It will bounce back up if any of the doors are not fully closed.

Found this thread during my search for a solution

www.206info.co.uk/Foru...28728.html

Could this be the potential problem/solution?

And thanks for your comments so far!
