If the sills taken a beating chances are the costs for repair will exceed the value of the car.
Go through your insurance and let them write it off, its a DV6 anyway

I was going down some moors once on a dead straight section, late at night, at least 60 and i flew past a sheep at the side of the road no more than 3 feet away and I saw it at the last minute. I went whiter than it but it didn't even flinch.
