Put Peugeot Service Box into google and you'll find it
It's an online database from Peugeot and is pretty good for finding spare part numbers and prices
You can have a free account on it which limits things you can do but I find it perfectly adequate for my needs

replacement: 9639592480

OK - the mounting holes are identical when placed symmetrically back to back. The bush bolt hole is the same too, as is the offset angle between the bush and the drive shaft hole. However, the drive shaft hole itself is 5-6mm smaller. Mine is around 60mm and the replacement is around 55mm! So the new drive shaft won't fit through it, so I'll be returning it at their expense for a full refund inc. P 'n' P & VAT. Anticipating another long wait now while all this gets sorted!

What makes it worse still is the fact that they had the benefit of both part numbers from me and several photos, the VIN and the reg., plus the drive shaft diameter. But still they managed to f*ck up (at the breakers).

...that would be lovely. By the time that this gets sorted with the breakers and a refund processed into my bank account I will be getting close to being able to afford a new part. But not yet.

Forgive me if I am wrong but I get the impression that some members like to gloat at other people's misfortune? I feel sorry for them.

Id gloat if i had a ferrari but this is simply £58, why would i gloat about that,

anyway like any other would agree that replacing a major component that holds the engine and drive shaft in place with a second hand part is foolish
