Hi Everyone.

First post on the forums and its a problem.....Sorry.

This has been going on for the past week now. When I start the car it runs fine for about 10 mins or so. Then the ABS warning light will come on STOP will start to flash and 3 beeps will start.

It gets better its now decided that more light are going to be on.
Air bag light, What looks like an engine light and also the hand break light (red ! in a circle)

Also driving back home tonight my speedo cut out and was going up and down all over the place and the car felt it was "shutting down" then starting back up again and my music was turning up and down.

I had some repairs done 4 or 5 months back and my local dealership to fix a electric problem and it was over heating in traffic. Something about electrics at the front not kicking the fan in when its meant to. It still does it but I'm just wondering if this could of been the start of the problem.

Don't really know where i stand on this as it sounds really expensive and i dont have the first clue about cars and dont really want to be ripped off by my garage again.

I have a 06 plate 206 manual petrol.

Hope you guys can help

Thanks

You really think all of the problems could be just break fluid? Sorry to sound like an idiot but like I said i dont have a clue about cars.

HAHA I thought it was my lucky day then DJ not to worry Smile

Sorry Seabook. Don't know what a HID is. Your working with a utter noob here.

I just don't want to give that garage any more money. It was only in there 5 months ago and they got nearly £500 out of me the f*ckers

Does anyone have any idea what a good dealership will charge for getting the codes read?

i was just about to suggest to pm lee and then realised you are over 200miles apart DOH!!!

you can pick up a cheap code reader from about £20 on amazon, get yourself one and then you wont have to pay anyone to get your codes read ever again Very Happy

A lot of warning lights like that can be caused by a weak battery?

Sounds like there's something amiss with the abs, too.. check abs rings on the front cv's.

Ultimatley, get the codes read.
