Found this connector loosely floating in the engine just behind the radiator. It's one of three cables which come from behind the drive belt. The other two cables are plugged in but this one isn't. My car is slightly overheating at the mo and just wondering other than it could be the thermostat could it possibly have anything to do with this connector? Please help anyone. My car is a 2000 Peugeot petrol 1.4 ltr.

Thanks

I take it the oil level gauge isnt working?

Should be a green connector screwed in to the engine block near the oil filter.

Its tucked away & best viewed with a torch / have a feel when the engines cold.

Does your car have an oil level gauge fitted?

If it does it wont work without being plugged in.

If it doesnt then you wont find anywhere to plug that connector in to Laughing
