Dont really want to fix it for it to come back again, plan on keeping the car for a while.
what are stainless manifolds like for these?

when i get a spare day i will fire up the welder, whats the best way to go about doing this? i have heard that its a rite pain to remove the manifold, and there's not alot of room underneath to get to it either.

on the early 206 gti (140) the 4 internal pipes on the exhaust manifold rattle. apparently very common.
