So Ive just recently bought my 206 , and so far (until this morning) everything hasn't been too bad (apart from I only sometimes get an Aribag Fault message on the clock LCD , anyone know what this could be?) anyway.... so yeah when it comes for me to get to work, i turn over the key and it doesn't start, i have a beeping noise at me and i have a "Immobilizer Fault" message come up on the clock LCD. t**t! Just my friken luck!
As i was in work my neighbour had a look at the car and ended up having to start it with jump cables, and told me the battery had somehow died (even though id used it last night) he did a battery check on it and it said the battery was healthy?? So does this mean i have something draining the battery? I have also recently installed my Sony Head unit, could this be the little b*****d that's to blame?
Cheers

Not too sure about the fault but FYI you should never jump start a multiplexed 206 with jump leads. I'm sure that's fried a few in the past.

should a multiplex car not be jump started because of the BSI? What will happen if it does get a jump start?

You can crash the BSI software OR in worse cases kill the BSI unit.
Upset the BSI = your walking

Take the battery off and charge it, or bump the car.

Completely opposite to this, can you use a plexed to jump start another car?

Not sure if it's advised but I have used mine to jump start the in laws a few times now with no issues. I just wouldn't jump start my own.

I have several times, no issues.
Just make sure you have a decent enough battery.

Turns out the battery was dead! "Unserviceable" according to KwikFit! and so i bought a new battery for £49 from Unipart, i really wanted a Bosch or Varta but this will do just fine for now. I hope this will help others with similar problems!
