Hi,can anyone tell me what needs repairing or how to with the above code read from a sealey diagnostic reader for the airbag...
it states this message;
P0802 Driver Module Trigger-level 2 open circuit
cheers could not find anything in the search.

Sounds like a com2000 fault to me.
Worth popping the airbag of & seeing if both plugs are in correctly.

Can I removed the airbag off the steering wheel without having to disconnect the plug into the module under the ash tray as stated in the. Haynes manual,as that will be a ball ache if got to remove centre console.

the tried and trusted way is to shut down the BSI (search for procedure), disconnect battery, wait a few minutes (i leave about 10 minutes) for the system to discharge completely, then start prying off the airbag.

Had the airbag off,and all wires seem ok if not slightly crunched the 3 flat wires.So from my original post can anyone tell me what the fault maybe now no wires are disconnected or broke?
Heres a pic of the said wiring.....

Could this now be the com2000 unit ?? done a search and not able to locate one if it is,part no. 96446862xt Dav cheers again.

That isnt a Peugeot / Citroen part number
Thats the manufacturers own part number for the com unit.

Oh where do i find the right part number then,and do u suggest its now the com unit?
indicators have been loose for some time,but all works just over cancels if touch the arm to hard.

Peugeot Service Box & type your VIN number in
OR
Stick your VIN up / PM it & someone will look it up for you.

After taking the steering cowl off again and cleaning all connections,aswell as airbag ones also,still the light stays on,tried a bsi reset,no joy.
I did notice this cable tie on the com unit,why?

we have owned the car from new and not had it repaired before,or is this on all of them.....
Is the fault code description i posted,only relate to drivers airbag and com unit,if so do you think its the com unit,thanks again peeps this site has been really helpfull to me so far.
