I have a massive judder and shaking of the car when I'm in 1st and reverse when using the clutch pedal alone to move, could this be the sign of a new clutch or engine mounting gone or....?
When moving from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th the cars fine but only 1st and reverse.
The clutch is 10 years old and done 143k I believe
HELLPP!

My clutch went bang last night, mine has never slipped or juddered though. I think my pressure plate has failed. I've got 89,000 on the clock and never had any service history when I bought it at 68,000.
I think it would be time to change you clutch anyway as it has such high milage .
I got my clutch kit with thrust bearing for around 60 quid with trade discount. It's best to change everything at once.
