Im trying to remove mirror so i can get to the temp sensor but not sure what is holding it on? Tried to get a screwdriver behind it but dont want to break anything?
Is there a knack to it or id it just get a bit rough with it?

Don't get rough with it! Try and heat it up first to stop it cracking with a hairdryer.
I use a small pick set at work, the best one I use has a hook at the end.

Got it off but couldnt see anything wrong with the wires to the outside temp sender?
Better follow the wires back to see if there is a break somewhere because i know its not 39 degrees today.

Point the mirror down and towards the car, then you can easily flick off the retaining pins...piece of p**s
The ballache is putting it back on.
