Nope, I haven't got one of those, I've just got a blank in the top of the thermostat housing. I'm sure someone else on here will be able to tell you what it is. Sorry I cant be of any more assistance.

Brown one is for the cooling fan / aircon Wink

Some 206's have 2 coolant temp sensors fitted, others just need the 1.

My daughter has a 1.4LX. The green sensor is engine coolant to ECU. Disconnect this and revs will rise but gauge is not affected.
There is a blue sensor screwed into the head below and slightly behind that green sensor and just below the air intake pipe. It is a bugger to see and get at! This blue sensor sends it's signal to the temperature gauge.
It is NOT the blue sensor that is easily visible in your picture.
MrBSI is correct about the brown sensor. That switches the cooling fan on at low speed when the aircon is switched on.

Why isn't my daughter an Alfaholic?

Thanks, I've replaced it now, I need to fix the exhaust now, change the plugs and air filter, it sounds like its blowing and the baffles are loose Smile
