After recently replacing the left driveshaft seal on my 206, a knocking noise started on the front left side whenever the car is being driven on bumps/uneven road surface.
I d say its related to the wishbone as it is the only part that I had to touch to pull the driveshaft from the gearbox. Everything seems to be back as it was though. Anything in particular that I should check?
The left driveshaft is also making a noise whenever it is being rotated. It clicks at some point which it did not use to do prior to removing it from the gearbox...
Thanks

Clicking is usually a cv joint, have you got the hub nut torqued correctly, have you disturbed the anti roll bar link?

Check the balljoint rubbers, one of them might be split. Usually causes knocking, could be the roll bar as said, although you shouldnt have had to remove it.

No have not touched the anti roll bar. Just checked the ball joint rubber and yes you are right it has a small split on one side and the grease is coming out of it... Can it be replaced without changing the entire wishbone? Well at least that explains the knocking.
Also saw some grease coming out from the CV joint boot. New boot and grease or should i get a new CV joint?
