Hi guys, im removing the driver side driveshaft later on and just wanted to ask if there's anything to watch out for when removing.
Appart for making sure there's sumthing to catch the oil.

Not sure if its the same on the 306's but probably will be. But there a pain where it goes through on the engine mount. there's two bolts 11mm bolts there to remove and they really are a pain. Could be a bit stiff to remove as well. I know with mine I had the box off alltogether and the only way I got it out was to wack the end of the shaft with a decent hammer.

The drivers side driveshaft has a intermediate bearing that is attached to the lower engine mount, I normally just take the whole engine mount and housing of with the driveshaft as I find it easier.

would need to support the gearbox doing that surely?

Yes I just put a jack and a block of wood to just support, the upper and gearbox mount hold the engine enough so I would worry about it to much.

engines coming out at the weekend, sold the driveshaft so need it off. would have been easier with the engine and box out but the lad cant wait, lol
