Hi I've got a 206 1.4 8v what happens is you start it from cold runs perfect but if you turn it off then restart it it misfires with black smoke and runs rough and a little loss of power but it revs slightly high as well could this be the ECT sensor feels like its running on choke cheers

I would go crankshaft sensor but it is a little shot in the dark.

As lee said. Should be the first point of call. The fault log can tell you a hell of a lot. Even things you didn't realise.
Although mine tells me too much.
