I remember that there was a thread to help solving boot rattle, but I can't find it...
Any advice, please?

Wrap black insulating tape around the stricker, or replace the latch (which isn't expensive, not over here anyway).

Try moving the latch thats fitted to the car. I did this to mine and stopped it. Was driving me mad.

if you're patient I found you're 206 will develop enough rattles to drown out the sound of the boot rattle

I get a bit of a clunk when i go over speedbumps but i thought it may have been the parcel shelf. Could the boot latch be the cause then?

Clios are worse I should know iv had 3 of them and then the 206 one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned tbh and mg metro turbos are quite reliable and good build quality too had one of them until the roof channels rotted and you got a shower when you went round a sharp corner in the mornings

If you open the boot and look where the boot catch is fitted to the car undo the two torx bolts slightly and move the catch slightly towards you and then tighten it up. Worked on mine, and no of a few others it has worked for to.

Just rotate the plastic sleeve on the latch.
