Are the sport seats in the XSi any better than those in the GLX, i'm think more along the lines of back support and seat base length.
Also whats a reasonable price for a set, front and rear less door cards, its the 2001 + style
Thanks

Think they are miles better tbh.
My GLX had a nasty blue velour Interior.
Seeing as you can get half leathers for around £80 these days, a fair price for an XSi interior would be around £40-£50.

Just noticed you said less doorcards.
You can probs knock £10-£15 off for one without doorcards.

I have the nasty blue interior I shouldn't be meddling with it but i quite like the XSi interior. Are there any issues with seats that have side airbags going into a car that doesn't currently have them ?

The sports seats are very comfy, i sat in my 1.4 after a month of driving my GTi and could instantally tell the diffrence.

Nope, you just dont connect them
You can retrofit the side airbags if you really want, I did

yeah but you know what your doing, my bum was itching enough when swapping the steering wheel over
I've seen a set of XSi seats local to me, but they are £99 ... which is a bit much, i'll keep an eye out. I'm having the gearbox oil change tomorrow because i didn't have the right socket and it also seems like i need a new downpipe since mines blowing near the lambda senor .... at least that might solve the smell of unleaded out the back end

When you have the front seats out life the carpet & see if the seat airbag loom is cable tied up safely out the way
If it is then it would be pretty simple to wire them up if you wanted.

I don't have mine wired in. My driver side airbag has deployed so I didn't bother.
Also £99 for an XSi interior is extortionate. I only paid £60 for my half leathers (no door cards) And to add to that, I sold my blue GLX interior for £50

I sold it twice, first guy gave me £40, but said he only wanted front seats. So I put rear bench on eBay for £10

Even scrapyards around here don't Even bother taking them out the car to sell unless they are half leathers or better.
