Heya there,
my 1.1 206's speedo has broke, the rev counter wont work, ive been to the garage and they said I need a new set of dials, would the gti ones fit as i like the look of them?

What year is your 206? What year 206 are the donor dials from? What mileage is your car & the donor dials?

They will 'fit' but if the donor dials are higher mileage, the car will revert to the highest mileage.

Only on a multiplexed 206
stg-joker has a non plexed 206 so his mileage will be whatever is stored in the replacement cluster.

might not work at all i tried to get some quicksilver ones in my old xs and it just blew some fuses
get some from the same year and then get some gti dials and swa them over

Did they test the live data to see if the RPM shows on that?

Just repair your own cluster, most likely the drive unit for the rev counter has failed.
Non plexed clusters are always loosing either rev counter or speedo due to the drive units failing.
