You might of blown the fuses to power your bulbs, this what happened to me before i couldn't use the driver side main beam properly in my angels.
Your car manual should indicate which fuse box you need access whether its under your bonnet next to the battery or under steering wheel. Depending on the year of your car.

you should have disconnected the battery before attacking main bulbs! try fuses, if not you could have bigger problems

Your car should be multi-plex then so check under the bonnet the fuse box next to the battery and check these numbers they be numbered:
F9......15A........Left dipped beam.
F10....15A........Right dipped beam.
F11....10A........Left high beam.
F12....10A........Right high beam.
If the fuse inside snapped off then you will need replace them,if all of them are fine then could be you blown all your bulbs or you might have bigger problems.

None of the fuses were broken and it seemed to almost fix itself yesterday however! my battery died today would this stop my main beam working?
