i know.. i know, millions of these threads previously, but i cant find the answer im looking for lol.
going to be changing the oil soon, and was looking in the manual to see which one it says i need.
but it says both: 10w 40 & 5w 40

could someone tell me what the difference is? and which would be better for my petrol gti.

Just go for 5W40 Total Quartz 9000. It's what Peugeot recommended from new.
