Recently I have been having trouble accelerating in my car. It isn't all the time and it isn't in a certain gear but sometimes when I change gear and press the accelerator, the car judders and feels as if it's in the wrong gear and is going to stall.
Anyone know what this might be?

Spark plugs, Coil pack.

Get a diagnostic done with Lee 206info.co.uk/Forums/v...18249.html if you can get to him.

Its the only way to be sure without spending money on things you may not need.

Diagnostic won't do anything.

When was it last serviced?

Best bet is give it a service, oil, filters and plugs, then see how it is.

Makes sure to use Bosch Super 4 plugs.

My 1.4 did a similar thing, I read the codes and the MAP sensor had an open circuit. Replaced it everything was sorted.

Why wont diagnostic work? Thats the idea of it instead of wasting mega bucks on parts that aren't needed. Always worked for me and no doubt lots of other members on here, your talking b*****ks fella !!!!

You don't know it's the same problem for sure Rolling Eyes
So a diagnostic check would be worth while if for no other reason than to rule things out.
