Ive been on here a few months now and havent uploaded any pics of my car :/ when i was looking to buy a car i had my heart set on a GTI 180 however i soon found out that insurance companies are w*nkers haha so i made a decision to buy a cheap 206 and make it look like a 180 Very Happy

Heres a few pics of when i first got the car

this isnt my car but i didnt take any photos from the side when i first got it :/ however it looked exactly like this one!

Then then i started with the basic body coloured bumpers

Then came the "bad boy exhaust" as they like to put it in work!

I never had the 180 bumper so i cut the shape for the exhaust and had that for about a month

i also put phase 2 rear lights on

then came the phase 2 boot strip

It stayed like this for a couple of weeks while i searched around for a 180 rear bumper (which was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack!!) but then finally i found this beaty for £40 which i was over the moon with! it just needed a lick of paint

I then tried a bit of light painting Smile

before

after

Next it was changing that ugly phase 1 grille that i hated to the honeycombe grille with a red trim!

then it was just a few personal touches with carbon wrap haha

and finally after picking up a set of challenger alloys for only 120 squid i done my own little refurb on them and blanked the centre cap off and put them on!

I also blanked the rear wiper as it was snapped off and carbon wrapped the wing mirrors but cant find a pic of those :/ but this is how the car stands atm, hope you like

heres a couple of night pics in weston Very Happy

My only other plans for it now are to get it lowered about 35mm all round on coil overs, i might get a new backbox as im not too keen on the noise my makes, (sounds a bit rough) and im going to be respraying the mirrors and the door strip BMW graphite grey (the same colour as my wheels and fuel cap Smile

cheers for reading!

Now all you need to do is remove the Quicksilver stickers, get a rear disc axel, get a 180 interior and get a personalised number plate.

Looks good mate. However If it was me lowering my car again, just 35mm, I would go with springs rather than coilies. Smile

Either use a boiled kettle to warm it up or a hair dryer mate. ThT should soften it up enough to remove quicker. Car looks great!!

easier than it looks mate haha, go to halfords find the right colour spray for your car (in a little book thing in the paint isle) then you lightly sand the unpainted bumper before you prime it, get your spray then just keep going over it untill you get a even coat and leave it a day or 2 for they paint to harden off and laquer it Very Happy
