hmm , i travel a fair bit like 350miles every week or so
would you drop it on its a**e or just get stiff sporty suspension ?

I used to travel 250 miles a week when i first started my job and it didnt bother me being that low. It was HIGHLY uncomfortable compared to standard 206's but it was worth it
She handled like a shed in corners but i didnt really mind

f*** it then there's a guide on here somewhere about it ill drop it 80mm on the back got 60mm springs for the front 2 weeks left at work then 2 weeks off will post before and after photo's soon as iv got my wheels referb'd looking pretty tacky at the moment s***ty sword dynamics and dodgy lacquer

I do between 5 and 6 hundred miles a week in the GTi and thats dropped 85mm on the back

any advice on what shockers to get for the front and back ? got 60mm apex springs for the front

I had mine done less than a year ago but already I can't get the bars out. Its a straight forward job though. Personally I would say replace the bearings anyway for what its worth then you don't have to worry about the axle f*****g up one day.
