Got a griffiths one, fitted it, and it's perfect.

its basically an extension from the gear linkage to the gear selector on the gear box, it makes it easy to change gears as the 206 is quite ropey from 1st to 3rd, thats the best way i can explain it, its a small bracket made from metal, costs around 20 quid upwards

It shortens the distance you have to move the gear-stick up/down to engage gears.
It does not however alter the left/right distance as replacing the whole stick would.
It comes in the form of a small aluminium extension adaptor which is fitted to the gear bracket.
I had to remove batt compartment and air/filter hose and was easy to fit after that.
