It seems that I only post in here when it comes to my MOT but here I go again.

Does anyone know the regulations regarding wing mirrors?

From looking round it seems that they are not required but if you have them, they need to be "servicable". Any idea what exactly is meant by this?

Bit of background, when parked someone decided that my wing mirror looked a bit too nice and deviced to give it a good old kick in.

The casing is broken but the glass is in 1 piece still. I've had to tape the glass back up to the casing but apart from that its still usable. Electric folding still works.

Just want to know if im gonna have to replace the bloody thing to get it through the MOT.

Any ideas at all guys?

I think might be depend on the person who do your mot testing. I guest it will be alright if it has been tape up properly

Anyway, u can get a 2nd hand 1 from ebay form a tenner if is a manual wing mirror.
