My pug has started with something that resembles a heavy miss fire which i know they are prone to and mine suffered this before the head gasket went. This has been replaced so pretty sure it cant be this.

When im driving at low revs if i put my foot down it doesn't go it just judders and bounces almost like something is slippin. The only way i can achieve gettin into the higher revs is to very slowly accelerate through the revs til after 3500 where i can then increase the throttle and the car reacts normally.

It is the same for every gear (except 1st) and if i were to change up too soon and land between 1500 and 3000 revs in the next gear it judders like mad!

Im worried its the driveshaft or something along those lines but have no clue really.

Can anyone please shed some light on this

Thanks

Could be a number of things 2bf even something as simple as a blocked injector (use some red x) or a dirty spark plug (wire brush) or like you said it could be the coil pack.

To quote spike, we can only speculate to what could be the issue and you could end spending money on parts an the problem would still exist. Take it to a mechanic give him some beer tokens and they can tell you exactly what you need

I mean the plugs you can do for free just take them out and check the condition. If you wanted red x is like £3 from helfauds just add to your petrol following the instructions on the bottle I used it on my old escort gti and it pulled up hills better after.

Red x is a fuel additive that 'sometimes' helps the cleaning of injectors

Has this only just started or has it been like this since headgasket change?
If it has been there since, your cam timing could be out.
If it has only just started, whip your plugs out and inspect. If you dont know what your looking for post a pic up here. This will tell you if each cylinder is firing correctly
*Edit just noted someone suggested this....... Rather than cleaning them, look for fuel on them (you should smell it) this will indicate if you have ignition/coil problems
