its not really a problem but when i move my steering wheel to the left or right it revs my car a tiny bit. its just abit annoying would like to know what is making it do that?

I guess this is while your at idle? If so this is normal, it's the steering pump.

I take it you mean 'turning the wheel when your stationary?' If so its the power steering pump being powered and is normal. Although you should try not to steer the car if your not moving as it puts stress on the pump.

That's normal as alternator is working hard er because of steering pump

Seeing as the power steering system is fully hydraulic on all 206's apart from the FAPTASTIC 1.6 HDI the alternator has nothing to do with raising the idle speed due to power steering movement.
The power steering system pressure sensor sending a signal to the engine ecu is what raises the engine idle speed.
Only thing the alternator & power steering pump share is the drive belt.
