does anyone know anywhere i can get a set of door edge protectors, that can be moulded to the curve on the 206 door. i have tried ebay but nothing seems to do the job.
problem is my mum constently bangs the door into the wall alongside my driveway, i have tried parking further away but somehow she still manages to hit the wall.
this results in a very untidy door edge, that once resprayed, will need protecting. im after a black colour as the car is black. i had thought about gloss black vynal, or some of that stuff used on helecoptor blades, that i have on my phone. but its abit more expensive than i wanted to spend.

What about putting something on the wall instead? That way you don't spoil the looks of your car & it gives your Mum something to 'rest' the door on.
& she probably does it on purpose as pay back for all the times as a kid you damaged her stuff, lol.

Go to halfords and just buy them you can also take them back and exchange/refund if they dont fit. If the person working is nice enough they might let you just take some outside to see which ones fit

+1.
Interested in this because both my doors look like someone has been at it with a grinder on the edges.
I wonder why?

ill post pics of the ones i got later, and there deffo working, mind you i have not taken my mum out since i installed them so only time will tell, on the upside they do mould well to the curve in the door, and teh tape seems to hold strong. bit of advice dont fit them on a 30degree sunny day to a baking hot black car, althought it held there were a few times i thougth it was coming away.

Used to have something like them door reflector things you can get except it was just the black plastic without the reflective part but can not for the life of me remember what it was called. I know it came in a roll and you would cut off an amount you needed.
Possibly something like this

the ones i have were £5.99 from there ripspeed collection, there actually pretty nicely shaped, although could do with being a bit slimmer, they look nice and protect the door edge.

If you have to put something on, then something like this would be alright.
I have always found door edge protectors to harbour dirt and create premature rusting. If you take them off everytime you wash the car, you end up with scratches underneath them, which looks even worse than touched in chips. The stuff in the link is pretty low profile, and with it being clear will blend in on any colour.

i had some of that, but it would not hold to the curve of the door, also to answer your question about rusting, i have run a bead of clear silicone round the edge (used to have a 306 cabrio, so i know about leaks and rust), to seal it and stop that happening.
