well hi ppls
i finally managed to finish the work for my gti today. wishbones/rod ends/clutch/discs/pads/seals etc etc. However i have had the battery off the car for about a week, so was amazed it fired straight up, purring like a kitten.
When i looked at the center consol (clock etc) it was very very dim.The radio also no longer has life in it.I tried making the clocks brighter - which it did for the instrument panel but not the center consol, So this is my dilemma: and ofc i have no radio code when i bought the car but pointless as it doesnt switch on anyways.
Are these connected in any way?
I have tried soft booting but all still the same.
As yet i have not checked the fuses but i figure if a fuse was blown then center consol light wouldnt work at all , but will check tomoz
Any suggestions most welcome Very Happy
Thanks
btw i have trolled forums and all seem to be inconclusive
