My gti 138 feels abit flat until it gets to about 3k rpm. Are they all like this? I do plan to change the plugs for bosch super 4's. I am running a ram air induction kit that I have fitted into the airbox with the intake. And a cat back stainless system.

a re map soprted mine out at 2k revs it has a nice amount of kick for town driving
the gtis power is after 4k revs
i wouldnt bother with the bosch plugs they do nothing other than last longer between changes
didnt thinjk you could get them for the gti as they use iridium plugs

Can they be re-mapped with the standard ecu? I have driven 3 gti's 2 were 137's and they felt abit more responsive. All running standard airbox and bosch plugs instead of ngk.
