I really fancy putting some carbon wrap vinyl on my bonnet of my firedance gti. What do people think it will look like? I have had a go at having a play on photobucket but failed. So heres a pic of the car if someone wants to do the bonnet black for me that would be great to see what it will look like.

Personally I dont think it would suit, might look different when you see it though

Yeah I'm not such a fan of different coloured bonnets on 206's however I do like the two area above the headlights wrapped going to the windcreen

Cant find any pics anywhere of a firedance with a carbon bonnet. Could be a first, its £20 for the wrap so i might do it and if it looks poo i can allways take it off.

don't think it would look nice either, i think there is a reason you can't find a firedance with it but as you said you can just take it off if you don't like it so worth ago?

I want to do the bonnet as its got a few deep chips and cant find a bonnet anywhere appart from ebay for £100 and that got scratches. Going to do the whole bonnet and put a pic up when its done. I do like the sides done tho.

Yeah black headlights with the strips look good. Or get orange morrettes with orange carbon fibre look wrap for a suttle mod

Im looking at some orange carbon vinyl now but i cant find a big enough piece.

Yeah i have been looking at some and im not keen onit. Plus it wont match the firedance orange.

Carbon vinyl looks cheap and nasty on large parts.

can pick up grp bonnet for around 150; smooth without vent and front badge

I have brought 1m x .5m of 3m black carbon wrap going to have a play and see if i like the look and if it goes with the colour of the car. only cost me £5. and if it looks ok i will buy enough to do the bonnet. Quite fancy wrapping some other parts like wiper cover and front badge.
