As i discussed in my earlier thread
www.206info.co.uk/Foru...43787.html

2 days after fitting, set off from my house when engine light came on and there was a loss of acceleration and revs dropped right down but car didn't stall and went back to normal.

A week later (today) and i pick the gf up to grab a maccy d's and traffic was heavy so engine was quite hot by the time we parked up, was parked up for about 20mins, started the car with no problems, drove for 10metres before having to stop when the engine light came on, the revs dropped right down and the engine cut out, it did this everytime i came to a halt but also while driving in 4th there was a slight jolt of the car when the engine light came on.

got home and parked up while the revs dropped right down but did not stall, when the car was stationary i left the engine running and it was idling fine.

Any ideas which does not involve the icv as this was replaced, i'm thinking maybe the coilpack, spark plugs, maybe even the engine oil could be the reason

Any help would be appreciated as it is making me want to get rid of the 206 Crying or Very sad

had the car put on a diagnostic machine and no fault was found. It happens when the engine is hot, the engine warning light will come on and as soon as i stop, the engine cuts out. The only time it doesn't misbehave is when the engine is cold and i drive from the gf's to my house or to and from work each day

Was it Peugeot Planet? You definetly have a fault, maybe it occurs before a fault is logged? Cant you do live logging which might pick it up if it onnly happens when warmed up?

Strange how it's not logging a fault if it was doing it all the time I'd say coil pack but only doing it when it's getting warm is weird.
