Hey guys,
I was thinking about getting some morettes for my 206 but the crystals that are on now look and function brilliantly.
Are the morettes any better or worse?
I used to have some angel eyes and they were shocking on light output. Just dont want to make the same mistake!

Looks and function which is why I opted for masked crystals.
I had to fit hids in with my morettes when I had them but opted for crystals with Hids and the output was a million times better and that's not even exaggerated.

I too am thinking of fitting morettes to my gti because it is just too much hassle trying to split my headlights just to paint them, people say it's easy but it's not

I have never had a problem with either tbh. Fitted Extreme Brilliance bulbs to both and the Morettes looked just like HIDs Output was very good on both

it is done it with a hairdryer few days ago, just keep distance so you don't damage the light and pull as you go along or put them in the oven.
can't beat crystals for light output, I would say they look better also but I'm not a fan of morettes

been using a draper heatgun, had my brother helping to heat them up while I tried to split the lights with a knife but found the edge of the black plastic would warp

Your xs would of had frosted headlights then if they H4 bulbs
All GTi regardless of plex or multi will have crystals
