Recently bought some wiper blades and i notice there's about an inch on the drivers side wiper(the end thats closest to the end of the windscreen) that isnt making contact with the windscreen, surely this should be like this ?
First time using the aero type wipers so not sure what to expect.

Even with 21" there will still be a bit that doesn't touch but its at the base of the screen so there is nothing to worry about.

Just seems odd i paid for the wiper yet the wiper isnt in full use, i contacted the seller and they suggested
"Have you tried bending your wiper arms to make them sit parallel with the windscreen. This can normally be seen from sitting inside the vehicle with the wiper blades on - if they don't FLIP over when they change direction then the wiper arms are not sitting parallel! "
Maybe im expecting more than what i should.

Normal for aero blades nothing to worry about as said its at the bottom of the screen, when they sweep over the whole blade touches so there is nothing wrong.

Mine does this, everyone told me to get 21inch but everytime I put my year of car etc in the website that sold the blades they said get 22inch? Why are they giving the wrong information? They must get alot returned?

The pug is listed as either 26" and 19" or both 22". If you fit aero blades you need to get the 21" for the drivers side. There are some sellers who will sell you a 22" and 21" as they know of the problem with the overhang. I've gone through 2 MOTs now with the 21" one on the drivers side and not had a problem.

Its not an MOT failure anyway so you would pass, the bit that doesnt get touched is at the bottom of the screen and not in the driver eyeline.
