Hi wonder if anyone can help please i managed to snap the remote on my wifes car i have got another from a scrapy but i am having probs getting the old one out dont want to do anymore damage i would be greatfull of any input

well you have to take the steering wheel off,then the plastic covers that cover the stalks,and then take it out,and replace it with the new one you got,there is no other easier way to do so as far as I know.

Remove the 2 x torx 20 screws from under the steering column trim & remove top & bottom trim panels.
Release the clip on the back where it slides in to the com unit & the remote stalk then just slides out.
Slide & clip the replacement remote stalk in.
There is NO need to remove the steering wheel, the remote stalk is separate from the com unit.
