Hi Guys,
New to the forum, recently got a 2000 plate GTI for the better half. After reading through the forum i have changed my spark plugs today to Bosch one's (previously NGK) and changed the oil and filter. Previously car was quite lumpy on idle which im guessing was the old plugs. However since we have had the car (approx 2 months) when the car is warm and restarted the revs climb to about 3k and stay there for a few seconds before returning to 750 ish. Any ideas what this maybe...car runs fine other than this.
Thanks
Mike
