Hiya, so Ive had a search and I cant find anything remotely similar... Maybe Im searching with weird terms. So, I had a knocking noise when going over bumps etc. The wheel baring was replaced and the knocking calmed down, wishbones etc were all checked during MOT and its all ok. The other day in traffic I noticed that when I bring up the clutch, as it gets into gear there's a knock, when I change gear and bring the clutch back up it knocks again. It seems to mainly do that in 1st and 2nd, I then noticed when its in gear, if I acellorate and take my foot off the acelorator quickly then there's a knock, it also knocks when the car is reversing slowly, and sometimes when going over bumps... Its strange, it all sounds like the same knock. Im going to check the engine mounts and gearbox mount I think, could it be either of them?

Ive also noticed recently that my clutch pedal sometimes "cracks" when I push it down. It doesnt happen very often, yesterday it cracked, the pedal then had no like, force trying to return back to its normal position, I took my foot off the clutch and it stayed 'down' but then sprung back up to its original position, it didnt affect the control of the car or anything..

Any ideas? Im assuming its two separate problems.

Yeah sounds like the exact problem I had engine mount, the rear lower mount, i believe the part number I used was PUG301B but this is an uprated one, by vibra technics these can be picked up for under £30. The clutch cracking sound I cant help with im afraid.
