I've just replaced all the discs and pads on our 206 gti (138) we had to also remove the nearside rear caliper and replace it so did the old fashioned way of bleeding the brakes through. One pushing the pedal, the other cracking the bleed nipples open/closed with the car off the ground.
With this done and no visible air the pedal felt ok, but once started the pedal has gone very spongey with servo assistance, dabbing the brake quickly they seem a bit responsive but progressive stopping the pedal travels much more than it did and things feel very vague, I understand they need bedding in but that shouldn't effect pedal feel.
The warning light was on the dash but once I drove off went out and hasn't come on since.
Any thoughts on what it could be? do you need to have the rear end on the ground?

Track toy 206, is this really a good idea? hmmm.

ive just replaced my front discs and pads. As it has abs did you open the bleed screw as you pushed the pistons back?
I also used an ezeebleed kit - no more pushin pedals to the floor, and my brakes are pretty good - not forgetting they probably will fell bit spongy till they bed in Wink
I used the peugeot way of bleeding nearest you and Not the known way of bleeding furthest away first.
hope this help Cool

If the brake pedal felt ok before you replaced the pads, it sounds like you've got air in the system. So bleed them again.

Were obviously going to give it another go with bleeding just wondered if we were doing something wrong. So you suggest bleeding from the nearest caliper to the reservoir and working away?
I'll be honest and say I cant remember about the fronts, but the backs were disconnnected from the lines when we pushed the pistons back.
